Alright, listen up, ARC Raiders! The folks at Embark just dropped a roadmap detailing their plans for game updates in early 2026. It's called "Escalation," and it’s bringing a bunch of fresh content to the extraction shooter, like new maps, enemies, Raider decks, and Expeditions. The main attraction? A "new large Arc" arriving in April. Seriously, how huge can these things get?

Let's dive in. The roadmap kicks off this month with "Headwinds," an update that throws a new matchmaking option for higher-level players (40+), a fresh minor map condition, and a new player project into the mix. Then, in February, we're getting "Shrouded Sky," which includes a new map condition, a new Arc threat, player project and Raider deck, a map update, and another Expedition. Phew, that's a lot!

March brings "Flashpoint," featuring yet another map condition, a new Arc enemy, and a player project. Plus, they're tweaking Scrappy, that oddball junk-attracting chicken. Finally, April is all about "Riven Tides." We're talking another new map, a new map condition, a second Expedition, and that massive new Arc we've been waiting for. I think that Expeditions should be more engaging.

For those of you who enjoy a bit of frostbite, fear not! Embark isn't quite done with the whole winter theme yet. Even though the Cold Snap has passed, the devs say that extreme weather will continue to test us Raiders as we scavenge for those precious resources to keep Speranza running. If that wasn't enough, they hinted that a specific enemy from the new Stella Montis region might eventually migrate to other maps. Awesome.
