Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news for those of you who love a good side-scrolling action RPG. Ariana and the Elder Codex is officially making its way to the West! Mark your calendars because it's hitting PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on March 24, 2026. And for all you PC gamers out there, don't worry, you'll get your turn in Spring 2026 via Steam. What's the game about? You play as Ariana, a Librarian on a crucial mission: to fix the Seven Hero Codices. These aren't just any books; they're the source of all magic, and they've been messed up badly. As a result, magic is fading from the world. Ariana has the power to enter these Codices, and it's up to you to help her mend them and bring magic back. One of the coolest things about this game is Ariana's Librarian Magic. You'll unlock over 30 different Magic Spells and Skills as you progress. And here's where it gets interesting: you can mix and match these abilities to find the combos that work best for you. It's all about experimenting and finding your own playstyle. Of course, it wouldn't be an RPG without some challenging bosses. You'll face the Guardians of the Altered Codices, each with their own unique and devastating attacks. You'll need to dodge spells, time your attacks perfectly, and keep a close eye on your health if you want to survive. To help you along the way, you can also unlock, craft, and equip Magic Items. These items will boost your stats and give you buffs, like elemental boosts, increased critical hit chances, and reduced knockback. It's all about finding the right gear to give you an edge in battle. I'm personally stoked about this game because it looks like it has a great mix of action, platforming, and RPG elements. I love the idea of experimenting with different magic combinations and taking on challenging bosses. Plus, the story sounds really intriguing, I wonder what secrets the Library holds. I'll definately keep an eye on it. So, are you ready to dive into the world of Ariana and the Elder Codex? Let me know in the comments what you're most excited about!
