Battlefield Leak Reveals Classic Rush Mode Gameplay!

Action

Guess what? More Battlefield leaks are surfacing online! Despite NDAs, gamers are sharing everything. Last weekend, we saw clips of gameplay, factions, gear, the battle royale mode, and even the single-player campaign. Now, it's all about the classic Rush mode.

Someone uploaded 18 minutes of Rush mode gameplay to Bilibili, a Chinese video site. Of course, Battlefield fans spotted it and shared it on Reddit. I mean, nothing stays secret these days, right?

The Reddit post is blowing up, with over 4000 upvotes. People are comparing it to Modern Warfare 2019, which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion. Gamers are also discussing recoil (or lack thereof) and movement speed. Some are wondering if the time-to-kill needs tweaking. However, others think the pre-alpha footage looks better than Battlefield 2042. One person even said they enjoy 2042 today, which is interesting!

Even though EA called the playtest their "most ambitious community testing program" and made everyone sign NDAs, leaks still happened. EA wasn't happy. They even responded to a Reddit thread about skill-based matchmaking with a simple "Okay, enough". They're clearly trying to control the spread of these leaks.

What We Know So Far

Officially, we know the next Battlefield is set in the modern day. It's bringing back traditional classes and more focused maps, which is a relief after the changes in Battlefield 2042. There is speculation based on concept art that the game might be set in Gibraltar. Also, EA expects the game to launch before April next year. So, fingers crossed!
