So, Bloober Team, the folks behind some spooky games, are apparently pretty keen on the Nintendo scene! The CEO, Piotr Babieno, mentioned he's a big Nintendo fanboy and wants to bring some horror goodness to their consoles. I get it; I grew up with Nintendo too, and some of the best horror titles back in the day were on the GameCube. Good times!

While they're keeping their future plans under wraps, it sounds like they've got something cooking for Nintendo fans. Maybe we'll see some of their older games ported over, or perhaps something entirely new? Whatever it is, I'm definitely curious!

Cozy Horror?

What really caught my attention was Babieno talking about "cozy games" like Luigi's Mansion. That's an interesting angle! Imagine a horror game that's not just scary, but also kinda comfy and charming. I think it would be pretty amazing!

And speaking of horror games, what about Silent Hill 2? It's currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, but that exclusivity is set to end on October 8th. Could we see it make its way to the Switch 2? Fingers crossed!

Their new game, Cronos: The New Dawn, is launching on September 5th for a bunch of platforms, including Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. One of their team tried it out back in July, but found it a little predictable.

Even if Cronos isn't a massive hit, the idea of Bloober Team bringing more horror to Nintendo is exciting. Whether it's ports of their existing games, something inspired by Luigi's Mansion, or even Silent Hill 2, I'm definitely here for it. Let's hope they can deliver the spooks!
