Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Date Accidentally Revealed!
Hey everyone! It looks like the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 might have just been revealed a little early! A trailer, seemingly meant for Gamescom Opening Night Live, popped up online showing a launch date of November 14th. That's pretty close to when Battlefield 6 is supposed to drop (October 10th).
So, how did this happen? Well, it seems like an ad went live a bit too soon. Of course, it got pulled down fast, but not before eagle-eyed folks at CharlieIntel snagged it and shared it online.
There was some speculation about whether Black Ops 7 would feature jetpacks and mechs, given the 2035 setting. However, according to CharlieIntel, there won't be any jet packs or double jumps in the game.
What We Know So Far
It looks like Black Ops 7 requires secure boot to keep those pesky cheaters away. You can expect the usual mix of co-op, zombies, and competitive multiplayer modes. The campaign is set in 2035 and continues the story from Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6, with David Mason chasing a new villain. There will also be the usual mind-bending twists and turns. Think Manchurian Candidate-esque stuff.
Also, there's been some info floating around about the price. The standard edition might be around $70 or €80, with a Vault Edition at $100 or €110. However, Microsoft hasn't raised the base price to $80 yet, even after what happened with Outer Worlds 2.
For me, I am so hyped to see the news! As a big fan of the series, I can't wait to jump in and experience the new campaign and multiplayer modes. I am wondering what kind of new weapons and gadgets they'll introduce!
