Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Update Adds Retry Button & Enhancements!

RPG

Hey everyone! Guess what? Sandfall Interactive just dropped a fresh update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and it's packed with goodies. The biggest win? A "Battle Retry" option! You know, that thing you desperately wish you had in real life after messing something up? Yeah, now it's in the game!

Apparently, this retry feature was a highly requested thing, and I can see why. It's super handy! If you're getting your butt kicked in a battle, a pop-up shows up and lets you jump right back in. It's similar to the retry system in Metaphor: ReFantazio, which was a total lifesaver. Talk about a stress reliever!

Other Awesome Tweaks

But wait, there's more! The update also makes it way easier to plan your moves. The Pictos menu now shows you exactly how much Lumina each ability costs. No more guessing games! Plus, they've added separate volume sliders for exploration and combat. So, you can crank up the epic battle music without blowing out your eardrums when you're just wandering around. Nice touch, Sandfall!

And for those of us who love to kick back and relax during dialogue, there's now an autoplay feature for conversations outside of cutscenes. You can find it in the settings, so you can easily toggle it on and off. It's perfect for when you just want to listen to the story without having to constantly click through the text. For me, it's great because I like to have a snack while I'm talking to NPCs.

The update also brings some love to our colorblind friends, adding icons to Lune’s Stains for better readability. Accessibility is always a win in my book!

Bug Fixes and More!

Of course, no update is complete without a healthy dose of bug fixes. The team has squashed a bunch of annoying issues, like characters gaining immortality when they shouldn't, and some weird teleporting glitches. They've also fixed some achievement bugs, so you can finally get those sweet, sweet trophies! No more journals vanishing into thin air!

It's clear that Sandfall Interactive is really listening to the community and working hard to make Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 the best it can be. I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next!
