Clair Obscur: Find All Lustrous Rocks for Hexga's Quest

In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, not all Nevrons are foes. Hexga presents a unique quest, challenging you to find three lustrous rocks in exchange for a reward. This guide will walk you through each location to complete Hexga's task.

Finding the Lustrous Rocks

The lustrous rocks are near Hexga, but they can be tricky to spot without specific directions. Here's a breakdown of each location:

Lustrous Rock #1

Head past Hexga and into the cave. Use the grapple to cross the gap and the rope to descend. The first lustrous rock is straight ahead as you drop. Be cautious, as enemies guard it. You can either eliminate them or sneak past to reach the rock, then strike it to obtain the Rock Crystal.

Lustrous Rock #2

From the first Rock Crystal's location, head towards the center of the cave and climb the small hill. Follow the path to find the next lustrous rock. If there's an enemy nearby, circle around the hill to avoid detection.

Lustrous Rock #3

Move to the right side of the cave to find the last Rock Crystal. Approaching it will trigger a transformation, turning it into an enemy called "Rocher." Defeat Rocher to claim the final lustrous rock. Rocher is vulnerable to most attacks, except fire. After defeating the enemy, collect the rock crystal.

Completing the Quest

Once you have all three lustrous rocks, use the rope to return to Hexga. Help them insert the Rock Crystals into the empty spaces on their back. After Hexga gets up, you'll find your reward where they were sitting.

Reward and Consequences

After claiming your reward, you can speak to Hexga to learn more about their background or choose to attack them. Attacking Hexga is a very hard challenge. Talking to Hexga reveals lore about the Paintress, adding depth to the game's narrative. You can also explore further down the cave to discover doors.

Auto Shell Picto Effect

The Auto Shell Picto provides a protective Shell for three turns at the start of battle, granting an additional 411+ Health. This Picto is especially useful for characters with low defense.
