Cyberpunk 2 Might Include Multiplayer After Cyberpunk 2077's Scrapped Plans
Hey everyone! So, I've been digging around, and it seems like CD Projekt might be bringing multiplayer to the next Cyberpunk game, which everyone's calling Cyberpunk 2 for now. It's kind of a big deal, especially considering what happened with Cyberpunk 2077.
If you remember, they initially had plans for a full-blown multiplayer mode in Cyberpunk 2077. However, those plans were eventually scrapped. I think after the rocky launch of 2077, they had to re-prioritize and focus on fixing the base game. It was probably a wise decision, honestly.
Now, it appears they're ready to give multiplayer another shot. I am excited about this, as a lot of players (myself included!) always felt that a cyberpunk world with some friends could be amazing. Think about heisting corporations, or exploring Night City together! I can picture it now.
Of course, this is all still speculation, but the signs are definitely there. I am curious to see what it will look like. Will it be a separate mode? Or something more seamlessly integrated into the single-player experience? Only time will tell, but I will be keeping my eyes peeled!
