Valley Critters Guide

Disney Dreamlight Valley Critter Friends

Life Simulation

Disney Dreamlight Valley is brimming with adorable critters, each with unique personalities and preferences. Building relationships with these creatures is key to unlocking their full potential as companions. But befriending them requires understanding their quirks and favorite foods.

Critters of the Valley

Some critters, like the squirrels in the Plaza, are easygoing and readily accept peanuts. Others, like the rabbits of Peaceful Meadow, require a bit of a chase (three times, to be exact!) before they’ll accept their beloved carrots.

Turtles on Dazzle Beach are a bit shy; they’ll retreat into their shells when approached, requiring patience. Seaweed is their treat of choice. Raccoons in the Forest of Valor, and crocodiles in the Glade of Trust, are similarly cautious. Approach them when their heads are down to offer blueberries and lobsters, respectively. Foxes in Frosted Heights will also require a chase, their favorite food being the rare White Sturgeon.

Sunbirds in the Sunlit Plateau are more approachable, readily accepting Houseleeks, with color variations dictating the preferred Houseleek type. Ravens in the Forgotten Lands have a sophisticated palate, preferring five-star meals.

Eternity Isle and Storybook Vale

The expansion areas introduce new critters. Monkeys in Ancient's Landing love Banana Splits, while Cobras in the Glittering Dunes are fans of eggs. Capybaras in the Wild Tangle are the most laid-back of the bunch, happily accepting cabbages without any chase required.

Storybook Vale adds owls in The Bind, readily accepting barley. Pegasuses in Mythopia, however, are picky eaters, preferring four-star vegetable-based meals, and will require chasing. Lastly, the baby dragons of Everafter appreciate either Pure Ice or Magma.

Mastering the art of befriending these animals takes time and observation, but the rewards – adorable companions – are well worth the effort. Remember, each critter's unique behavior will make the experience even more engaging!
