Drag x Drive: New Wheelchair Basketball Game is Coming with a Demo!
Hey everyone! Nintendo just dropped a trailer for a really interesting game called Drag x Drive, and it's all about wheelchair basketball. What makes it super cool is that it mixes elements from other sports like wheelchair rugby and skateboarding. I think this is gonna be a new take on sports games!
What's neat is how you play. You use the Joy-Con controllers to move your wheels – sliding them forward to move and twisting to turn. When you have the ball, flick your wrist to shoot. You can even do tricks like bunny hops and backflips! Seriously, who wouldn’t want to try that?
Online and Offline Play
You can play online with friends or go solo against the computer. If you're playing with buddies, you can create private parks. In these parks, you can play matches or compete in mini-games. I love that you can customize your character's appearance with helmets, armor, frames, and tires too.
There's a demo event coming up on August 9th and 10th called the Drag x Drive: Global Jam. If you have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can play the demo at specific times before the game comes out. It's a great way to try it out and see if it's your kind of game.
The game is coming to Switch 2 on August 14. I think this game looks very fun, and the demo will give players a good taste of what to expect.
