So, I was reading about what's next for Zelda, and it sounds like things might be getting interesting. Eiji Aonuma, the main guy behind the Zelda games, mentioned that working with Koei Tecmo on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity might actually have an impact on the next big Zelda game.

Now, I know what you might be thinking. Hyrule Warriors is a totally different kind of game, right? It's all about massive battles and taking down hordes of enemies. Mainline Zelda games, however, are typically about exploration, puzzles, and a more focused story. But bear with me.

Aonuma didn't go into super specific details, but he suggested that the experience of working on a game with such a different style could bring some new ideas to the table. Maybe we'll see some of those epic battles influencing the combat system, or perhaps some of the character designs and storylines will inspire new characters and quests.

Personally, I'm intrigued! I mean, imagine a Zelda game where you can lead armies into battle, or where the combat is a bit more dynamic and action-packed. I am not saying it should become a "Dynasty Warriors" game - it would be awful! It could add a whole new layer of depth to the experience.

Of course, it's all just speculation at this point. But the idea that the developers are open to experimenting and drawing inspiration from different places is really exciting. I'm eager to see what they come up with.

What do you think? Are you hoping to see some Hyrule Warriors influence in the next Zelda game, or do you prefer the classic formula? Let me know in the comments!
