Elden Ring: Nightreign Surpasses 5 Million Sales, Shadow of the Erdtree Tops 10 Million!
Hey everyone! So, some pretty awesome news from the Lands Between. It looks like Elden Ring Nightreign is doing incredibly well! Bandai Namco and FromSoftware just announced that total worldwide shipments and digital sales have already climbed past five million units. That's a huge number, especially considering the game just launched on May 30th for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. To put things in perspective, it hit two million in just the first day!
And it's not just Nightreign that's smashing records. The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring has flown past 10 million units sold! Thinking back, I remember when the expansion first dropped. The initial numbers were impressive, but this is just on another level. It really shows how much people are loving the world and the gameplay that FromSoftware has created.
It’s wild to think about how far Elden Ring has come since its initial release. Remember the hype leading up to it? It definitely lived up to expectations, and it's still going strong. If you haven’t jumped in yet, you'll need the base Elden Ring game to play the expansion, which is available on pretty much every platform you can think of.
Looking ahead, there's even talk of a Switch 2 version coming in 2025. A portable Elden Ring? Sign me up! It's going to be awesome to see what the future holds for this amazing game.
