Elden Ring Nightreign's Duo Mode is Coming Next Week!
Hey everyone! Great news for those of you diving into Elden Ring Nightreign! Remember how everyone was asking for a two-player mode? Well, it's finally happening! FromSoftware is dropping patch 1.02 on July 30th, and it's bringing the much-anticipated duo mode with it. I think it's awesome that they listened to the community on this one.
While Elden Ring is known for its co-op gameplay with three players, some gamers felt that the single-player mode was a bit too difficult and missed having a two-player option. I can totally relate to that; sometimes you just want to tackle a tough challenge with a friend without a third wheel, right? So, with this update, you'll be able to team up with your best buddy and take on the Nightreign together.
Besides the two-player mode, the patch also includes some UI improvements and better filtering options for Relics. This should make the game more user-friendly, and I'm always happy to see developers focusing on quality-of-life updates like this.
Oh, and did you hear? Elden Ring Nightreign has sold over 5 million copies since its release in May! That's insane! Also, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has sold 10 million copies, which means around a third of players have jumped into the expansion. I'm not surprised, given how amazing the Elden Ring universe is!
Lastly, keep an eye out for the next batch of Everdark Sovereigns arriving on July 31st. These extra-challenging Nightlords will definitely put your skills to the test. Good luck taking them down in pairs!
