Alright, so some potential concept art for the upcoming Fable game has surfaced. Apparently, it was spotted in a developer's online portfolio. Now, it's always a gamble whether this stuff is legit or just wishful thinking, but this leak hints at something pretty cool: a return to a familiar location from Fable 2.

The art was apparently found by MP1ST. They say they grabbed it from a developer's page who supposedly worked on Fable at some point. I mean, who knows how old this stuff is, but let's dive in, shall we?

Looking at the 29 images, several seem to point towards Bloodstone. If you remember Fable 2, Bloodstone was this coastal pirate town. The images that were released, appear to show the layout of its market district, and it seems like it might feature a "pub island" this time around, how cool is that?

One image even shows what looks like the protagonist overlooking a vista with a sign pointing towards Bloodstone. Though, strangely enough, it indicates you can reach Bloodstone in two opposite directions. Besides that, there are images that seem to depict a swampy village called The Hamlet. Some pictures show nature-covered houses, both before and after being abandoned.

There's also some sewer exploration, the usual whimsical fantasy architecture you'd expect from Fable, and, of course, a couple of shots with sheep. Honestly, it all feels in line with the pre-alpha footage Playground showed when they announced the delay to 2026. That said, it doesn't prove anything.

The good news is we don't have to wait too long to know for sure. Fable is supposed to show up at the Developer Direct this Thursday, January 22nd. Xbox promised we'll see real Fable content there. So, fingers crossed!
