Fortnite TIE Fighters: How to Find and Fly

Fortnite's Galactic Battle season brings a galaxy far, far away to the island, and with it comes the iconic TIE Fighter. These powerful vehicles offer a unique way to traverse the map and engage enemies. But where can you find them?

Finding Your TIE Fighter

While TIE Fighters don't appear in the same spots every game, some locations are more likely to house these Imperial starships. Areas associated with the Empire, like the First Order Base and Vader's Samurai Solitude, are prime hunting grounds. One guaranteed location is the forest east of the Resistance Base; a repeatable quest involves repairing a TIE Fighter there. Another reliably spawns near the east end of Vader's Samurai Solitude – presumably Darth Vader's personal ship! Keep an eye out near Crime City and the snowy mountains around the First Order Base as well for a chance encounter.

Taking Flight

Once you've located a TIE Fighter, hopping in is only half the battle. These are two-person ships, offering both pilot and gunner positions. The controls are easily accessible on screen, varying slightly depending on your platform (PC, console). Mastering the controls, including boosting, landing, and switching seats, will help you dominate the skies.
