GTA Online: Money Fronts Update Lets You Launder Cash Through Car Washes and More!
Ever watched a crime drama and wondered why video games don't let you dive into the nitty-gritty world of money laundering? Well, wonder no more! GTA Online is about to change the game (literally) with its upcoming "Money Fronts" update, launching this June 17th. Get ready to buy your way into legitimate businesses and use them to clean up your ill-gotten gains.
Become a Business Mogul (of Sorts)
The update focuses on acquiring seemingly innocent businesses to act as fronts for your criminal enterprise. You'll start with a classic: the Hands On Car Wash. This humble car wash will generate passive income from your... less-than-legal activities. As your empire expands, you can acquire the Smoke on the Water dispensary and Higgins Helitours, each with its own legitimate revenue streams to help mask your shady dealings.
However, running these businesses as a cover isn't without its risks. Your operations will generate "heat," and if it gets too high, you'll need to step in and manage these companies the *legal* way to keep the authorities off your back. Think of it like a mini-management sim, but with the ever-present threat of your criminal past catching up to you.
New Rides and Gameplay Tweaks
What's a GTA Online update without some sweet new rides? The "Money Fronts" update introduces vehicles like the Karin Everon RS and the Declasse Tampa GT (Muscle). Perfect for making a statement (or a quick getaway!).
Additionally, there are some welcome gameplay tweaks coming too. Over 50 vehicles will gain missile lock-on jammer capability, and all sources of arena points will be doubled. Plus, a number of cutscenes will finally be skippable on mission replays, which is a huge win for those of us who've replayed missions countless times.
More details are on the way soon, so stay tuned! The update is just around the corner anyway.
