So, Super Earth took a beating, right? Those pesky Illuminate really did a number on our home. But fear not, Helldivers! Because like any good galactic citizen, we're gonna fix it – with bullets and explosions, of course. Arrowhead, the masterminds behind Helldivers 2, have issued a new Major Order, and it's all about securing "reparations" to rebuild our beloved planet.

How are we gonna get the funds? Well, by showing those bugs and robots exactly what we think of their life choices. The briefing is pretty clear: Super Earth needs cash, and we're getting it through "compulsory asset forfeiture". Which, in Helldiver speak, translates to: "Kill a whole lotta aliens".

They are asking us to eliminate 290 million Illuminate and a staggering 2.9 billion Terminids in less than a week. Seems like a tall order, doesn't it? If you have been playing for a while, you probably know that when it comes to wiping out hordes of enemies, Helldivers 2 players are scarily efficient. In fact, some of these "kill a bunch of things" missions have ended early because we're just too good at our jobs. Remember that time we crushed the Automaton invasion in record time? Good times.

However, this time, the sheer number of bugs might actually pose a challenge. According to the Galactic War tracking apps, we might be cutting it close with the Terminids, possibly overshooting the deadline. The Illuminate, on the other hand, are getting a serious spanking. We're well on our way to meeting that goal, so expect those glowy squidwards to be gone soon.

I've been seeing some chatter on Reddit, a bit of Illuminate-fatigue seems to be setting in. Some players are wishing we were sent after the Automatons instead. I get it, variety is the spice of life, and blasting robots is always a good time. But hey, a mission is a mission, and Super Earth needs rebuilding!

Thinking long-term, if we do manage to rebuild Super Earth, what's to say another big battle isn't on the horizon? It might be a while off, but I'm curious to see how Arrowhead would try to top this one. Maybe a new faction, something we haven't fought to death yet? Or perhaps a twist on the whole "defend the mega-cities" scenario? Only time will tell, I guess. Now, let's get back out there and make those bugs pay!
