High On Life 2 Coming to Switch 2 on April 20 - Other Platforms Still on Track!
Hey everyone! I've got some cool news for you. Squanch Games just announced that High On Life 2 is heading to Switch 2 on April 20th. I know, I know, that's a bit later than the initial February 13th release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store). But hey, good things come to those who wait, right? And yes, it will be available on Game Pass as well!
I was also pretty stoked to hear that there'll be physical editions of the game for both PlayStation 5 and Switch 2, hitting stores on April 20th too. For those of you grabbing it on Switch 2, it'll come on a game-key card. Nice to see they still care about physical releases.
In High On Life 2, you're diving back into the chaotic life of a bounty hunter. After taking down an intergalactic cartel and saving humanity, things were starting to look up. Fame, fortune, love... it seemed like you had it all. However, trouble is brewing because a figure from your past reappears, and your sister now has a price on her head.
Do you have what it takes to risk it all and bring down an intergalactic conspiracy that once again threatens your favorite species (humans)?
High On Life RETURNS as you and your beloved rag-tag team of alien misfits shoot, stab, and skate your way through gorgeous, dangerous worlds all across the galaxy to blow up the EVIL pharmaceutical conglomerate hell-bent on putting price tags on HUMAN LIFE!
What to Expect?
From what I've gathered, here are some key features that'll make High On Life 2 a blast:
- High-Octane Combat: Expect intense battles with a bunch of charismatic alien guns.
- Skateboarding Action: You'll be kickflipping alien cops and grinding your way to freedom on a skateboard. I mean, who wouldn't want to do that?
- Eccentric Characters: The game is filled with bizarre and subversive lifeforms voiced by an all-star comedy cast. I'm always up for some good laughs in my games.
- Crazy Locations: Get ready to wreak havoc at an alien zoo for humans, a luxury futuristic cruiseliner, and the galaxy’s biggest convention. Sounds like a wild ride!
Overall, High On Life 2 sounds like it's going to be a crazy, hilarious, and action-packed adventure. While the Switch 2 version is coming a bit later, it seems like it'll be worth the wait. I'm personally excited to jump back into this universe and see what kind of madness awaits.
