Hitman: Absolution

Hitman: Absolution sneaking onto iOS/Android this fall, Switch in 2025 and Switch 2 in 2026!

Action

Hey everyone! Guess what? Hitman: Absolution, that stealth action game we all kinda remember, is making its way to iOS and Android this fall! I know, right? It feels like it's been ages, but apparently, Feral Interactive is bringing Agent 47's adventure to our pockets for $14.99.

I remember playing this game back in the day, and while it wasn't my absolute favorite in the series (Blood Money holds a special place in my heart), it had some pretty cool moments. It was a bit more cinematic, a bit more story-focused, and I'm curious to see how it holds up on mobile. The devs mentioned that they're building on the success of Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, so hopefully, it'll be a smooth transition.

The best part? You can choose to go full stealth mode, sneaking around and silently taking out targets like a pro, or you can go loud and messy, creating distractions and causing chaos. Apparently, 'going loud' is just as satisfying as sticking to the shadows - that makes the game more appealing, since you have a lot more of options to complete your missions.

And if you're not into touch controls (which, let's be honest, can be a bit clunky sometimes), the game will fully support gamepads and keyboard/mouse. That’s great news for those who want a more traditional gaming experience on their phones or tablets. For me it is important to have the option to use external devices.

But wait, there's more!

If you're more of a Nintendo fan, don't worry, you're not being left out! Hitman: Absolution is also coming to the Switch... but not until late 2025. And if you're already dreaming about the Switch 2, you'll have to wait even longer, until 2026. It's a bit of a wait, I know, but hey, at least it's coming!

I'm personally hyped to see how this game performs on mobile. Stealth games can be tricky to pull off on smaller screens, but if Feral Interactive can nail the controls and keep the performance smooth, this could be a great way to experience Hitman on the go. What do you think? Are you excited to see Agent 47 on your phone, or are you waiting for the Switch release? Let me know in the comments below!
