So, there's this new game on the horizon called Samson, and it's got my attention. It's being developed by a team of folks who used to work on the Just Cause series, which already tells me we're likely in for some explosive action. However, they're aiming for something a bit different this time around.

They're calling it a free-roaming action-adventure crime drama. Think 'Mad Max' meets 'Max Payne', but maybe with a slightly smaller budget. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Sometimes, those AA projects can really surprise you because the devs have to get creative with their resources.

I'm personally intrigued by this approach. The big AAA games are cool and all, but sometimes, they get bogged down in trying to do too much. A more focused, AA experience, could be really refreshing. Imagine all the chaotic fun of Just Cause, but with a grittier, more narrative-driven story.

It all boils down to, delivering a high-quality experience without needing a mountain of cash. If the developers can nail that, Samson might be one to watch. I know I'll be keeping an eye on this one!
