Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Trailer - What to Expect
Hey everyone! LEVEL-5 just unleashed the eighth official trailer for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and I'm here to break it down for you. If you're new to the series, think super-powered soccer with a healthy dose of RPG elements. Seriously, what's not to love?
According to LEVEL-5, this installment looks like it's going to be massive! They talk about a new story, a protagonist, and over 5,200 characters to collect and train. The competitive mode sounds intense. I mean, 5,200 characters? That's a lot of digital athletes! I think that every player will find his favorites and build a great team.
What's the Story?
The story mode jumps 25 years after the original Inazuma Eleven. We follow Destin Billows, who's searching for a world...without soccer? That sounds weird, because why would you do that? But whatever! He ends up at South Cirrus Junior High, while at Raimon Junior High, there's this "football monster" named Harper Evans. They meet, and stuff happens. I don't wanna spoil everything, so you'll have to watch the trailer yourself.
But wait, there's more! Chronicle Mode lets you relive past matches with Victorio, a time-traveling dude. You can collect and train characters from previous games, so it's like a massive fan service for long-time players. Think of it as building your ultimate dream team across the entire Inazuma Eleven universe.
Gameplay: Your Way
Now, about the gameplay. You can choose between "Manual Mode," where you directly control the players, or "Commander Mode," where you use tactics to guide your team. This is great because it lets anyone jump in and enjoy the game, regardless of their skill level. I think I will try the Commander Mode first, I love to think about strategies!
To finish, there is the Bond Station. You can customize your avatar, invite friends, and socialize. It's like a virtual clubhouse for Inazuma Eleven fans. What's more, the cutscenes are being made by MAPPA, a top-notch anime studio. We’re talking high-quality animation. The story’s intensity will be on another level, and I think the story will be good.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is set to launch on November 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (via Steam). That's a lot of platforms! So, no excuses for missing out.
