Lego Fortnite Expeditions: Team Up and Stop the Evil Mask Maker in this Mission-Based Adventure!

Adventure

Get ready, Fortnite fans! The highly anticipated Lego Fortnite Expeditions is dropping this week, and it's bringing a whole new level of cooperative adventure to the game. Forget subtly – Epic has been teasing this for a while, and now the full reveal is here. Imagine joining forces with your friends to thwart the dastardly plans of an evil mask maker. Sounds epic, right?

Join the Supernova Academy

If you're itching to dive into Expeditions, you'll be enrolling in the Supernova Academy. Think of it as your base of operations, a social hub where you can meet fellow players, chat with the faculty (including the legendary Vengeance Jones), and gear up for co-op missions. However, don't get too comfortable because you'll soon be facing off against the minions of Mask Maker Daigo. We are talking sentient crystals, demon guards, and even formidable Titans!

These missions will take you and up to three friends to key locations across the world map. Picture yourselves exploring places like Utopia City, the Spire Excavation Site, and the Busted Bridge. And that's just the beginning! More locations, including Demon's Domain where Daigo himself resides, are planned for post-launch content. Your objectives? Rescuing civilians, setting up comm relays, deploying field generators, and of course, battling waves of enemies. But, if you're the curious type, keep an eye out for useful resources, currency, and gear hidden amidst the chaos.

To aid you in your quest, you can switch between three distinct classes at will, each with its own XP-based skills trees. The Shadow Caller, for example, can summon projectiles that both heal and deal damage. On the other hand, The Hunter specializes in delivering massive damage to a single target. Finally, Rift Rippers can use their rift abilities against single or multiple foes. Additionally, you can acquire gadgets and weapons like Plasma Pistols, Dual Daggers, and the War Hammer by spending Essence found during missions back at the academy. It's all about finding the right tools for the job!

As you complete missions, you'll be contributing to global goals known as Team Projects. Epic also mentions Academy Assignments, which are additional objectives you can pick up from faculty members and tackle during your downtime. It's a great way to stay engaged and earn extra rewards.

Lego Fortnite Expeditions will be available on all versions of Fortnite starting June 18th. You can access it via the Battle Bus in either Odyssey or Brick Life modes. Also, Expeditions monsters will start invading Odyssey in July, and hero classes will follow. So, gear up and get ready to face the challenges ahead!
