Guess what? Little Nightmares is diving headfirst into the world of VR with a brand-new title: Altered Echoes! I'm super excited about this. Imagine being even more immersed in that creepy, unsettling world.

Bandai Namco just dropped the announcement, and honestly, it's got me buzzing with questions. While they teased us with a trailer, they're keeping the details pretty hush-hush for now. No word on which platforms will support it, who's developing it, or even a proper synopsis.

I have played the original Little Nightmares. I can say that the the thought of experiencing that kind of atmosphere in VR? Absolutely terrifying, but in the best possible way! The sense of scale and vulnerability is already a key part of the game's charm, and I think VR could amplify that tenfold.

Because it is still early to say something, I'm really hoping for some innovative VR mechanics. Things that go beyond just simply porting the existing gameplay into a virtual environment. Unique puzzles and interactions that take advantage of the VR space would be amazing.

What We Want to See

If you ask me, the studio should really focus on making the environment feel truly interactive. Imagine being able to reach out and touch the clammy walls, or having to physically peek around corners to avoid enemies. Things like that would really sell the experience.

Even though the information is scarce, the fact that Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes is even a thing is enough to get me hyped. I will definetly keep you updated as soon as I learn more!
