The folks behind Mario Kart Tour just dropped a trailer for the upcoming Sunshine Tour. And it's not just any tour – it's a collaboration with Mario Kart World! This special event celebrates the release of Mario Kart World and brings Mario and Luigi to the mobile game in mechanic outfits. Plus, we're getting four new karts making their debut.

This "Mario Kart World Special Campaign" kicks off on July 23rd and runs until August 6th. I can't wait to see what it's all about!

Mario Kart Tour first hit iPhones and Androids in September 2019 and became a cash cow for Nintendo. By September 2022, it had raked in an estimated $293 million worldwide. Pretty impressive, right?

Remember when Mario Kart Tour had that gacha system where you pulled warp pipes hoping for new characters and kart parts? Yeah, that was a bit of a mess. Thankfully, Nintendo ditched it in 2022 and replaced it with a regular item shop. Much better!
