Monster Hunter Wilds Update 2: New Monsters and Weapons

Action RPG

Get ready, hunters! Monster Hunter Wilds is getting a major content drop with Title Update 2, slated for release at the end of June. While Capcom remains tight-lipped on specifics, leaks and hints point towards a thrilling update.

New Challenges Await

Prepare for a significant increase in difficulty. The update introduces new Tempered monsters (8*) via special quests. These fearsome creatures will undoubtedly test even the most seasoned hunters' skills. Furthermore, a brand-new Arch-Tempered monster is set to make its debut in exclusive hunts, promising an even greater challenge.

Weapon Overhauls and Quality of Life Improvements

Expect substantial changes to the weapon arsenal. The Hammer is getting a major rework, with added offset effects and follow-up attacks. Other weapons, including the Dual Blades, are also in line for adjustments, although some might see nerfs alongside buffs. Capcom has promised continued weapon tweaks in future updates.

Beyond weapon adjustments, Title Update 2 focuses on improving the overall player experience. Quality-of-life updates are on the way, including enhancements to the Seikret system, easier access to skill details, and improved handler interaction. The addition of Layered Weapons is also planned.

Release Date

While Capcom hasn't given an exact date, the update is expected to arrive at the end of June. A likely release window is between June 26th and 27th.
