New Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remake statue emerges, igniting excitement!
Wow, 2026 has already been a rollercoaster, right? Amidst all the news about Ubisoft's restructuring, there's still buzz building around the unannounced Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake. I mean, despite the setbacks, this remake refuses to stay out of the spotlight.
And guess what? There's a new piece of "evidence" that has surfaced. This time, it involves a statue of everyone's favorite pirate-turned-assassin, Edward Kenway.
This new statue was spotted just recently, and while it doesn't scream "Resynced remake," it certainly adds fuel to the fire, don't you think? Especially when you consider the other promotional materials and collaborations popping up.
The statue itself looks awesome. Kenway chilling on a treasure chest, ship's wheel behind him, pistol in one hand, cutlass in the other. It's even got the Black Flag with both the pirate skull and the Assassin's Creed symbol – a nice touch for us old-school fans.
Statue origins
What's interesting is where it popped up: Vinted, of all places. Leakers are saying it's not a previously released statue, and the listing claims it won't be officially out until later this year.
However, this timeline would make sense, considering PureArts teased something Black Flag-related last summer. So, maybe a release was planned for early 2026 before things got shaken up at Ubisoft.
For me, I think that with the Prince of Persia remake shelved and Ubisoft being more selective with their projects, there's a lot riding on this Black Flag remake.
So, fingers crossed that the development is smooth sailing. I really believe that Kenway will be back commanding the seas once again!
