OPUS: Prism Peak, a multi-ending game about a weary photojournalist finding himself in a strange, ethereal realm, is officially launching on Switch 2, Switch, and PC (via Steam) this fall. You play as a middle-aged photojournalist trying to escape the disappointments of city life, only to get stuck in a magical mountain realm after an accident. Armed with nothing but your trusty old camera, you'll need to piece together the mysteries of this world to find your way back home. I'm a sucker for games with strong narratives, so this already has me hooked.

And I need to say that the game has a wistful magical realism vibe that reminds me a bit of Studio Ghibli films. This world used to be like reality, but now is fading away. Only spirits are left in its remains.
