Palworld Devs Are Making Their Very Own Pal-filled Stardew Valley
Palworld Devs Are At It Again! Meet Palfarm, Their Take on Farming Games
Okay, so the Palworld craze hasn't even cooled down yet, and the folks over at Pocketpair are already cooking up something new: Palfarm. I'm sensing a trend here - they might just Pal-everything! But jokes aside, this one actually looks pretty interesting. If you're anything like me and you've sunk countless hours into games like Stardew Valley, then this might just be your next obsession.
From what I can gather, it's essentially Palworld meets farming simulator. You get to tend to crops, explore caves, fight monsters, and befriend NPCs. The big twist, of course, is that you can capture Pals and make them do all the work for you. Sowing, watering, you name it – they'll handle it. Think of it as having a team of super-powered, adorable farmhands.
However, things are about to get spicy! This announcement comes hot on the heels of Nintendo unveiling their own farming spin-off, Pokopia. And let's not forget the elephant in the room: Nintendo's currently suing Pocketpair, claiming they've infringed on Pokémon patents. Announcing Palfarm feels like poking a bear, doesn't it?
Diving deeper, Palfarm seems to be doubling down on that dark humor that made Palworld such a hit. The description promises a relaxing farm life, but then casually mentions that "eating your own Pals is absolutely out of the question!". Later, they talk about killing wild Pals because "combat is a form of harvesting". These guys really understand the weirdness of video game farming, don't they?
There is multiplayer in the game, allowing you and your friends to build your dream farm together. There's also a town with a commercial area and a hidden black market run by a shady character with a revolver. It appears you can play Russian roulette with him! What's more, you can roll snowballs to make them bigger and get married. I don't know about you, but I'm already sold! Now, all we need is a release date.
