Pokémon Go 9th Anniversary Art Teases Paradox Pokémon Arrival!
Hey Trainers! The Pokémon Go team just dropped some fresh artwork celebrating the game's upcoming 9th anniversary, and I'm seeing some serious hints about what's coming next. Get hyped!
It looks like Paradox Pokémon, those awesome futuristic and prehistoric versions of existing Pokémon that we first saw in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, might be making their way into Pokémon Go! The artwork clearly shows Great Tusk (that's the ancient Donphan) and Iron Treads (the future Donphan). I'm personally stoked about this – they're such cool designs!
But that's not all! Keep your eyes peeled, because Gigantamax Butterfree is also present in the image, and the steel/ghost type Pokémon Aegislash will arrive this month with the Steel and Scales event, so it seems they're joining the party too.
What Else Could Be Coming?
Besides the new Pokémon, I think we might be getting a brand-new feature! If you look at the character on the left side of the artwork, they're rocking a wrist communicator and giving a thumbs up. Some people are guessing remote trading, which would be a game-changer. Imagine trading with friends across the globe without having to be physically near them! Of course, that’s just speculation for now but it really seems possible.
Also, the presence of Zygarde 50% Forme could mean we're getting a new Route or Zygarde-themed event soon. Let’s cross our fingers!
Niantic, the minds behind Pokémon Go, was acquired earlier this year. But don't worry, they've said that Pokémon Go won't be undergoing any major changes. So, we can all breathe a sigh of relief and continue catching 'em all!
What do you think all these hints mean? Let me know in the comments below!
