Red Dunes Games Showcases Exciting Titles at Tokyo Game Show 2025
Get hyped, gamers! Red Dunes Games is bringing the heat to Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025, and their lineup is looking seriously impressive. From September 25th to 28th, Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan will be the place to be, and Red Dunes is coming in strong.
According to Red Dunes Games CEO Sultan Darmaki, this year's TGS is special for them. What started small has exploded into a major presence, showing how much their partners and teams trust them. He also mentions that they are trying to create a balanced ecosystem, joining flagship titles with awesome indie games. At Red Dunes, they are focused on supporting creators, both established and new ones, delivering experiences that are fun, meaningful, and shared.
Their booth will feature 12 playable games on 32 high-performance PCs. And don't worry console fans, they are also planning console releases for these games.
The Games You Can Play
Here's a quick look at some of the titles they're showcasing:
- Blades of Mirage: Dive into an isometric RPG set in a Southeast Asian-inspired world. You play as Mira and must defeat guardians to secure treasures.
- Katuba’s Poacher: A boss-rush cartoon action challenge made by South Korean developer Joe Yu, blending roguelite, action, and arcade elements.
- LightSup!: A beat 'em up co-op game with roguelite elements for up to four players.
- Nightmare Circus: An action-adventure game where you're a Puppeteer trapped in the Nightmare Realm, trying to escape with your friends.
- Port of Jumanah: A 2.5D action-adventure game inspired by pearl diving heritage from the United Arab Emirates.
- Princess of the Water Lilies: A 2D puzzle-platformer in a whimsical world inspired by animated tales from the 70s to the 90s.
- Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past!: The Pizza Cats are back, and they have to prevent The Big Cheese from taking over Little Tokyo!
- Silent Planet: Elegy of a Dying World: In 2997, explore a gothic science-fiction Metroidvania as Apranik, searching for the Angel's Egg.
- Zozo and the Lost Dreams: A 2D Metroidvania platformer where you play as Zozo, exploring a dream world.
And there's more! ACQUIRE is also joining the party with three games: Monster Eater, Hamrazu:Re, and Codename: Project Tremor. These are only the first steps, so expect more news on September 19th.
Personally, I'm super stoked about the Samurai Pizza Cats game. It's great to see that Red Dunes is trying to create a spot for both AAA titles and indie gems.
