Saturday AM: Battle Manga confirmed for PC! Check out the debut trailer and screenshots
Great news for fighting game fans! Son Studios has officially announced that Saturday AM: Battle Manga, the exciting 2v2 tag-team fighting game, is coming to PC via Steam. I've been waiting for a good crossover fighter, and this looks like it could be it!
For those who aren't familiar, this game features characters from the Saturday AM manga universe, including favorites from Apple Black, Clock Striker, Soul Beat, and Hammer. So, yeah, it's a manga fan's dream come true. Imagine being able to create your own dream teams and pit characters against each other that you've only ever imagined.
Gameplay and Features
The game looks like it's going to have a pretty cool 2.5D fighting system. What's that mean? It’s like classic 2D fighters but with a little extra visual depth. Son Studios highlights a seamless tag system, cinematic supers, and unique moves, all ripped straight from the manga.
From the trailer, the art style really pops. It's got that anime-inspired look that I really appreciate, and it seems like the combat is going to be fast-paced and tactical. It’s going to be a game that's easy to pick up and play, but with enough depth for more competitive players to sink their teeth into.
One of the things I'm most excited about is the stages. They're taken directly from the pages of Saturday AM, which is a really cool way to bring the world to life. I think it's an awesome idea for a crossover game to do so.
There's currently no release date, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one.
