Stellar Blade PC Mods Go Wild: Nudity and More on Steam

Action

Well, who could have seen this coming? Just two days after Stellar Blade landed on Steam, the modding community has gone wild, and let's just say a significant portion of the new content is... adult-oriented. It seems players are wasting no time tailoring their experience.

Over on Nexus Mods, Stellar Blade's page is currently showcasing over two hundred modifications. Interestingly, a quick scroll reveals that the first few pages are dominated by mods that introduce nudity, like one of the most popular options which replaces the main character's appearance with "Eve with No clothes on (Original Proportions)."

However, it's not all just about the risque stuff. Some mods get creative, replacing the main menu with, shall we say, 'adult' looping videos of Eve. Others focus on adding new, sometimes quirky, outfits for the protagonist. There's even one that adds a pregnancy mod. Quite the range, isn't it?

Judging by the "Overwhelmingly Positive" Steam reviews, it appears many players are thoroughly enjoying Stellar Blade, whether they are playing the game normally or simply watching Eve move around, they are having fun with the ex-Playstation exclusive action game.

One review hilariously stated, "Plot? I only saw hips swinging and melons jiggling. 10/10, would simp again!" While this sentiment seems to be a recurring theme in the reviews, many players also praise the game for its solid PC port and good performance.

By all accounts, Stellar Blade appears to be a genuinely well-made action game, even if its artistic merit is sometimes overshadowed. With an 81 critic rating and a 9.2 user score on Metacritic, it's clear that the game has more to offer than just fan service.

As one Steam reviewer put it, "The game is high-quality hack and slash representative with a well written story and interesting characters... Despite all the fan service in the game, Stellar Blade would be just as good even without it."

I actually bought Stellar Blade on PS5 when it first came out, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet. Maybe this is a sign I should finally dive in! But for those of you enjoying the game on PC, remember to take breaks. You know, for hygiene reasons.
