Stellar Blade's Social Media Account Hacked, but It's Back Now!
Okay, so check this out: Stellar Blade's official account on X (formerly Twitter) got hacked! I know, right? It's like, can't anything be safe these days?
Apparently, the hackers were posting all sorts of crypto scam stuff. Hyung-Tae Kim, the director of Stellar Blade, even had to jump on his personal account to warn everyone to steer clear of those dodgy posts. He was like, "Hey, don't click on anything, it's not us!" Can you imagine the stress?
It sounds like a total mess! Kim said they were working hard to get the account back. He even had to clarify that they weren't giving away any cryptocurrency, because, of course, the scammers were trying to trick people.
The good news is: the account has now been recovered. The Stellar Blade team posted an apology saying they're super sorry for the wait and they're going to make sure this kind of thing never happens again. Thank goodness!
So, now the account is back to posting about Eve, the main character, and all things Stellar Blade. Crisis averted!
On a brighter note, Stellar Blade just launched on PC, and it's doing really well. People are loving it, which I guess makes the hacking situation even more annoying for the team. But hey, they bounced back!
And for those hoping to play on other consoles, rumors say that a version for Switch 2 is coming. Also, a sequel is already in the works and should be launched by 2026. This sequel will have a more in-depth story, which I think is great.
