Mario's Back in a Galaxy Far, Far Away!

Alright, listen up, fellow gamers! Nintendo just dropped the first full trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and it looks absolutely stellar (pun intended!). Following the insane success of the first movie, they're diving deep into the Galaxy universe, and I'm already hyped. It's great to see Nintendo expanding on their franchises.

What's got everyone talking? Well, the trailer finally gives us a glimpse of Rosalina, the cosmic guardian, voiced by none other than Brie Larson! I think she is a great fit for the role. And Bowser Jr. is in the mix, too, voiced by Benny Safdie. It seems like they are aiming to have a great cast for the movie, which will probably make the movie even better.

While we got a sneak peek last September, this trailer really sets the stage. Mark your calendars, folks, because it's hitting US theaters on April 3rd, 2026, and Japan on April 24th! That's a long wait, I know, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

There was a lot of buzz about Yoshi showing up, thanks to some leaks. However, the green dino is still hiding. I hope we can see him in further trailers, or at least in the movie.

To get us all pumped up, Nintendo is releasing Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on Switch and Switch 2. However, I've heard that controls are not perfect. But I believe it is a great opportunity to play a great game on the go.

The first Mario movie set records, and Nintendo is obviously hoping this sequel does even better. With the cast and story revealed, I really think this one will be even better!
