This horror game blends Amnesia, BioShock, and Dishonored into a spooky adventure coming soon!
Hey everyone! Mark your calendars because Crisol: Theater of Idols, the upcoming first-person horror adventure from Vermila Studios and Blumhouse Games, is launching on February 10th. I don't know about you, but this game has definitely caught my eye.
Imagine a game that mashes up the creepy atmosphere of Amnesia, the intriguing world-building of BioShock, and the stealthy action of Dishonored. Sounds awesome, right? Well, that's exactly what Crisol: Theater of Idols seems to be offering. It's hitting PC via Steam, as well as current-gen consoles, so there's no excuse to miss it!
Set in a twisted, dark version of Spain called Hispania, you'll step into the shoes of Gabriel, a soldier with a rather unique ability. He uses blood as both a weapon and a means of survival. Sounds intense, doesn't it? If you love your stealth-action games with rich stories, you will feel right at home!
The game's description hints at exploring the cursed island of Tormentosa, uncovering dark secrets, and battling some truly horrifying enemies. It sounds like a wild ride, and I'm definitely curious to see if I can survive!
If you're on the fence, there's a playable demo available on Steam right now. It's got a "Mostly Positive" score, so it seems like people are really digging it. I personally recommend you give it a shot before the full release.
It's interesting to see Blumhouse Games diving into the gaming world, especially considering their background in horror films like M3gan, Annabelle, and The Conjuring. They're also involved in the Five Nights at Freddy's movie and are even working with Kinetic Games to bring Phasmophobia to the big screen. It seems like they are really investing in bringing horror to different media!
I am really excited to play the full release and see if it delivers the chilling experience I am expecting. February 10th can't come soon enough!
