Towerborne Launches February 26 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC!
Hey everyone! Great news for those of you who've been keeping an eye on Towerborne. This cool side-scrolling action RPG brawler is officially launching on February 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. If you're unfamiliar, it's been in Early Access for a while, but it's finally ready for its full release!
The game throws you into the role of an Ace, a warrior tasked with defending the Belfry against some seriously nasty forces. You'll journey through a world in ruins, trying to figure out what happened to the City of Numbers and fighting back against the corruption that threatens everyone.
What's New in Version 1.0?
So, what can you expect in this final release? The developers have been hard at work adding a ton of content. Firstly, there's a complete story with a major villain, new side quests, and an updated Bounty Board. If you like a good challenge, the new 'Brutal' difficulty will definitely test your skills. I always enjoy when games let me adjust the difficulty.
Additionally, they've reworked the world map, added a new coastal biome, and included a new forge system so you can modify and upgrade your gear. Plus, all cosmetics are now obtainable through gameplay, which is fantastic news for those who hate microtransactions!
Speaking of gameplay, Towerborne features combo-based brawler combat mixed with RPG elements. You can customize your Ace with different gear and experiment with various combat styles to find what suits you best. The combat is designed to be fast-paced and responsive, rewarding timing and creativity. You can either jump in for quick sessions or dive deep into the game's intricate systems. I find that this variety is the key to keeping the experience fresh!
You can team up with up to three friends or venture solo, with Umbra, a unique companion, lending abilities to your side. For me, playing with friends always elevates the fun.
Towerborne will cost $24.99 for the standard edition and $29.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Plus, it'll be available on Game Pass.
I am genuinely excited to see the final version of Towerborne.
