Trust Me, I Nailed It: Fake It 'Til You Make It in This Hilarious Editing Game

Strategy
Ever wish you could make someone look way cooler than they actually are? Well, **Trust Me, I Nailed It** lets you do just that, turning a cowardly warrior into a monster-slaying legend through the power of video editing. The core idea? It's so silly, it just might work! Think of it as a love letter to the old days of Windows Movie Maker. You get to play around with "World Movie Weaver" (get it?), a faux software that lets you manipulate footage of our "hero." Instead of audio and video tracks, you get enemy and hero attack patterns. Your task? Drag and drop clips to make this warrior look like he knows what he's doing. Need him to dodge an attack? Just add the right clip! Want him to teleport? Movie magic, baby! The story unfolds through emails and MSN posts, where you see if people are buying your heavily edited version of reality. It's all about fooling the masses into believing this zero is actually a hero. I will say, the game's visuals are a bit of a mixed bag. The hero scenes feel pretty generic, and the fake OS looks like it's straight out of Windows 98. It would've been awesome to see a more unique aesthetic, something that screams "fantasy operating system." What would technology look like in a world of magic? That's a question I wanted answered. However, the core concept is so much fun that I'm willing to overlook the visual shortcomings. Plus, did I mention it's free? Can't argue with that! **Trust Me, I Nailed It** is set to release next week, on February 6th. If you're up for some ridiculous, video-editing-fueled fun, add it to your wishlist. I know I will!
