Deadlock Leak

Valve's Secret Deadlock Version Leaked

MOBA

Valve's upcoming MOBA, Deadlock, has been making waves, even before its official release. While many are enjoying the invite-only alpha, a recent accidental leak revealed a much more exclusive, top-secret version.

A Secret Within a Secret

A popular streamer, during a live broadcast, briefly showcased a version of Deadlock brimming with new content. This "secret" pre-alpha build boasts an expanded roster of heroes, including intriguing characters like the Doorman, Bookworm, and Vampirebat. These additions, along with updated designs for existing heroes, offer a tantalizing glimpse into the game's potential.

The streamer quickly reacted, shutting down the stream and removing the archived footage, but not before the internet captured screenshots. This accidental leak highlights the extensive development work Valve is undertaking, even as the public alpha continues.

A Long Road to Release

Deadlock's development has been shrouded in secrecy for over a year, with leaks occurring periodically. While Valve initially attempted to maintain tight control over information, they eventually relented, launching a Steam page last August. However, the game remains invite-only, fueling anticipation among players.

Although recent updates indicate significant progress, a release date remains elusive. It's clear Valve is dedicated to refining the game, striving for excellence before its official launch.
