So, here's the scoop: it looks like Machine Games is getting ready to dive back into the world of Wolfenstein. After wrapping up Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, the studio is supposedly starting work on Wolfenstein 3, which they've been hinting at for a while. This info comes from reports at Windows Central and Kotaku, so it seems pretty solid.

But that's not all! Windows Central also mentioned that Machine Games might also be cooking up a new multiplayer game. Apparently, it's going to be similar to Rainbow Six Siege. Sounds interesting, right? I'm curious to see what they come up with.

The fact that Wolfenstein 3 is happening isn't really a surprise. Last year, in a documentary about Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, studio head Jerk Gustafsson said that they had plans for a third game to finish off B.J. Blazkowicz's story. He mentioned that they had mapped out the entire story arc for B.J. during the development of The New Order, including what would happen in the second and third games. That means they've had this planned for a long time, which is pretty cool.

I think a good satirist should accept it as a challenge. Also, there's a Wolfenstein TV Series in the works at Amazon. This new Wolfenstein game will probably tie in with the show, you know, for that sweet corporate synergy.
