Yoshi's New Adventure: Mysterious Book Coming to Switch 2!

Alright, Yoshi fans, get hyped! It looks like we're getting a brand-new Yoshi platformer, and it's coming to the Switch 2 to celebrate the Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary! How cool is that?

This game, called Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, has a really awesome hand-drawn storybook look. From what I've seen, it's going to have some puzzle-like 2D gameplay, which should be a fun twist on the classic Yoshi formula. I'm really digging the art style; it's like playing through a living storybook!

Among all the Mario announcements, including a Switch 2 update for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the Super Mario Galaxy double pack, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book and Mario Tennis Fever stood out as the only entirely new games which were revealed.

It seems like Nintendo's sticking with the whole crafting theme from previous Yoshi titles, but this time, it is with a book! One thing that caught my eye, though – and I'm not sure if anyone else noticed it – is the size of that belly button on the grumpy Yoshi. Seriously, it's kinda huge!

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is set to launch on the Switch 2 in spring next year, which is around the same time as The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Get your consoles ready!
